Holy Trinity Primary School through to National POP Lacrosse Finals... Again
We are thrilled to celebrate a phenomenal achievement as one of our local primary schools has secured its place at the National POP Tournament for an incredible ninth consecutive year. This remarkable streak highlights the school's unwavering commitment to PE and competitive sport, fostered through years of hard work and an inspiring team spirit among pupils and staff. Such sustained success brings immense pride to the Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership, serving as a shining example of sporting excellence within our community. We wish the team the best of luck as they represent our borough with passion and determination on the national stage once again.

Schools Embracing Parkrun to embed physical activity... here's how to get involved
Junior parkrun is a fantastic way for schools to build a culture of regular physical activity, confidence and community beyond the school gates. By encouraging pupils and families to take part, schools can boost fitness, resilience and a love of being active. Middleton Parish have fully embraced the junior parkrun culture, with an awards system and tracking board where pupils’ PBs and attendances are recorded and celebrated, inspiring even more children to get involved. RBSGP are currently working with the personnel at Milnrow Memorial Park and is looking to include further schools...

This is a phenomenal achievement that reflects sustained excellence and a long-term commitment to PE, school sport, and physical activity across our community. Now is the perfect time to gather your evidence and finalise your submissions to showcase your impact.
